Shut Down

1518 N Throop St

UPDATE: THE DUSK COCKTAIL BAR HAS UNFORTUNATELY PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

I loved visiting, and you can read about my experience down below, but sadly Dusk is longer with us.

This spot is extremely cute. It’s not super hidden once you’re on the street, but it is in an unexpected part of town.

Along a simple little residential and business street outside the city, Dusk is a gorgeous tiny art gallery with an elegant bar and affordable bougie drinks.

I showed up shortly after it opened on a Wednesday, and I believe I was the first one there. The bartender was wonderful, and she showed me around a bit - all the art shown is for sale!

I had some wine from New Zealand and I was impressed. I didn’t know they made such excellent wine there. I was also there during happy hour, so I got my glass of wine for only five bucks. I was quite happy.

The drink was the first thing I’d eaten or drank all day (don’t judge me) and so I left Dusk pleasantly goofy and onto the rest of my day.

If you’re looking for a super chill spot, with artsy vibes, pull up. :)

Highly recommend, and you can check out their website here: http://www.duskchicago.com/
