This review is brough to you by a friend of mine, Pearl.

I plan to check it out personally at some point in the future, but Pearl laid out everything I needed to know.

The Sound Bar is loud and fun, but fits the over-the-top club stereotype to a tee.

The entrance is divided into two paths. One is for the average patron, and the other is for the well-connected or well-off (friends of the club, or those willing to bribe their way in)

Pearl explained the vibe is not unlike a frat party, especially in terms of the patrons.

Given the dark, underground setting, you're inclined to go all out and see what you're capable of - but that fun is offset by high frequency of jerks and creeps.

And much of this is evident from their google rating - 3 stars. If you don't mind an intense environment, it might be your scene - but if you prefer something more low-key, this won't be the spot for you.

Pearl won't be back, and I'm not exactly clamoring to visit, but for the rare night when I really want to let loose the Sound Bar might be a great start.
